If you are already in an MLM but have given up on the warm market approach, you may find yourself looking for other means to attract people to join you in the business.  Many people use lead companies and purchase leads--people who have expressed an interest in home based business opportunities.  Usually they have signed up by filling out an internet form.  There are lots of lead companies out there and you have to look carefully at the quality of the leads before purchasing.  Here are some questions to ask if you are seriously looking for leads:

1. How old are the leads
2. Are they single or double opt-in leads
3. Do they have phone interviewed leads
4. What questions are being asked on the internet form
5. Where are they doing their advertising

Prices vary with various forms of lead packages.  Make sure you go with a company that has opt-in leads of some sort.

Some lead companies have ads in odd places, such as attached to an opportunity for people to get $25 free "if they just fill out a form" and answer a few questions (usually the form is easy check boxes).  A lot of people will fill out such a form to get the free item or cash.  You'll have to make a lot of calls before making any home runs with these type of leads.
