Deep down you know it’s not true, but the lure of a “get rich quick” scheme is always strong. That’s human nature.  I’ve been there, and know full well how tempting it is to believe the hype.  I have chased that shiny new object more than once myself.

Network marketing is a relationship business. My medical training had not given me much background in marketing, team building, or online techniques. I realized that I needed a whole new set of tools – a new knowledge base.  My road to that new knowledge base was not always a straight one. I made lots of mistakes along the way.

Persistent Persuit of Your Goal

It takes a lot of work to become successful.  Those who are successful  have overcome their discouragement over what may be a process slower than they would like.  Every day they work their plan, and you must do that as well. But even persistence is not enough!  Learning the right moves, the right way to work is key.  You can work hard at doing the wrong thing every day and get nowhere. 

If you have no marketing training, you'll have new skills to learn. If you don't know how to approach people, or how to close a sale, you'll need training on that as well.  If you have no idea about the value of social network you'll need to learn that too. My point is, yes, you've go to be organized, persistent, and properly trained.  Then you can really be successful.  Just know when you start the business - whichever one you choose - it may be slow at first and the learning curve is steep.  But if you truly want to be financially independent and you are passionate about your chosen area, then just know there are going to be ups and downs - maybe lots of downs. But you will get there!
