Affiliate MarketingBefore reading the different resources on this page let me explain about affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is when you sign up with a company to promote their products. Some of the links on this page are affiliate links. If you decide to buy I get a commission on the sale. However, I want to tell you straight up I am not recommending something that has not worked for me. I make no guarantee it will work for you, but I am giving you my personal advice based on 5 years of experience. If you have any questions about this you may go to the contact us page and send us an email. CopywritingIf there is one thing I know after doing Network Marketing for the past 5 years it is this:
Copywriting is a skill is essential to just about everything you are going to do to promote your business. Simple blogs, Facebook, twitter, and commenting on forums or blogs depend on you develop your writing skills. Amazon has a wide selection of Copywriting books either ready for Kindle or hard copy. Below is a link to the Amazon page on copywriting books. I recommend you pick up a couple of books that will give you the history of copywriting and basic copywriting techniques as a place to start. You need these skills. You don't even have to get new copies - a good used copy is just fine! Just begin your education Social NetworkingFacebook and twitter have come from a small "concept" just your teenagers and grandchildren used to an important communication tool that you must begin to use on a regular basis. Using these tools in the right way is key to becoming a subject expert that will attract like-minded people. Learning the skills to use these social tools the right way takes time. Just blasting out the URL to your favorite MLM gets you nowhere, and may even have negative consequences. In the world of social networking that is considered spam. It's much like going to a party but instead of being socially interactive with the other guests, you just want to talk about what you have for sale. That's just a no no! The ratio of social posts to offer ranges is much larger than you might think. Some social media experts say 50 social posts per 1 offer! Here is an ebook you can purchase that gives you basic information about how to use social media of all sorts to attract customers to your web site, blog, facebook page, etc. If you are new to to concept of using social media as an attraction marketing technique, then this book can give you the place to get started. EMail MarketingFor those of you just getting started one of the perplexing thing is how to gather a list of people that are interested in what you have to sell, and to keep your list "clean" so you won't be branded a spammer. When I first started out I learned this lesson that hard way. The software program for the web site platform I used also had a contact management system attached. However, I did not understand that hosting companies bundle many web sites under one IP address. If someone in that IP address starts sending emails to people without their permission that entire email address can get branded as "spam" No wrongdoing on your part, but you end up with the consequences. There is just no way around it. You need a company to manage that part of your business for you. There may be some you can find that are partially free, but most will charge you something on a monthly basis. The larger your list gets, the more it will cost--but by then you know "the money is in the list". When people get to know you and trust you they will sign up for your newsletters and communications, and are much more likely to buy from you. The LAST thing you need is to have your emails not get delivered! Trust me, I know this from hard experience! I personally have my email management through AWeber. It's a great service that has too many features to spell them all out here. You can look for yourself by clicking on the banner below. Look around on the web site, and sign up for their newsletter that gives you free tips and lots of insight on email marketing. You'll learn a lot just from the free information. They also have a 1 month offer for $1. If you are absolutely new you may not want to wait before signing up for an email service. But if you are compiling any kind of a list at all it's time to sign up. I lost my list when I was first getting started. Don't make that mistake! Whether you choose AWeber, ConstantContact or some other service is just fine. |
